Gearing up for 2016 wines

As we head into May, the 2016 vines have been pruned and laid down against the fruit wires, and are in full bloom. We leave behind the anxiety of sudden late frosts that overnight can wipe out a full year’s harvest and head into the summer heat.

The 2015 harvest sits tucked away in a cool, protected area in the barn awaiting bottling and presentation to the public later in 2016, while all around it the hard work of restoration continues.
