2021 Rosé

Aromatic, crisp, and fruity

This is a saignée style rosé in which grapes harvested for red wine production have a small portion of the juice bled off before it has a chance to extract color and flavor from the skins. This increases the ratio of skins to juice for the red wine and the extracted juice can be made into a rosé wine. This wine was barrel fermented and aged for 3 months before bottling in January. The wine went through spontaneous malolactic fermentation. This is a soft and rich style wine distinct from other rosés in which the grapes are harvested earlier specifically for rosé production.
