ACV is Open for 2020 Service

NOTE: After a wonderful season, we are closed for winter starting November 16, 2020. We open again on April 3, 2021! Join us on our once-monthly Open Cellar Days through winter to keep your wine stash stocked.

As of May 31, 2020, Antietam Creek Vineyards is open for service in our open-sided tasting room.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you all back to ACV, and are delighted to have ample outdoor space to share with you and your household. Of course, for the safety of all our customers and staffers, social distancing guidelines do apply. We’ll ask you to help us when you’re on site: Please respect 6 ft of distance between you and other parties. Tables (which are all spaced to allow for social distance!) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, or please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs. Masks must be worn while standing inside the barn, even when waiting in line.

We’re also instituted extra precautions in the tasting room to sanitize tables, chairs, and other surfaces between customers. Wine is available for purchase by the glass and bottle, and tastings are offered as flights.

To-go purchases and advanced orders are also still welcome. If you’d like to place an online order for pickup, send us an email at [email protected], and we’ll process your payment in advance.

Gearing up for 2016 wines

As we head into May, the 2016 vines have been pruned and laid down against the fruit wires, and are in full bloom. We leave behind the anxiety of sudden late frosts that overnight can wipe out a full year’s harvest and head into the summer heat.

The 2015 harvest sits tucked away in a cool, protected area in the barn awaiting bottling and presentation to the public later in 2016, while all around it the hard work of restoration continues.
